The resort spans the islands of Koh Ouen and Koh Bong, connected by a footbridge over a marine reserve we have established to safeguard the islands’ reefs and marine life including dugongs, seahorses and exotic species of tropical fish. Guests can explore the islands’ reefs, wander among virgin rainforest and lie on the pure white sands of Song Saa’s beaches. With more than 20 deserted islands close by, opportunities for offshore adventure also abound.

Song Saa Private Island features 24 luxury overwater, jungle and ocean view villas built with sustainable materials and with the deepest respect for the natural environment. All rooms feature; king size beds, twin-vanity bathroom, oversized sunken bathtub, wardrobe, fully stocked mini-bar, 40” flat screen TV, surround sound system and iPod docking stations, Wi-Fi, lounge area, outdoor shower, sundeck with a daybed, a private pool and a poolside shower.

One Bed Jungle Villas
Nestled in native scrub along the shoreline, our Jungle Villas offer 135 square meters of indulgent open-plan living. You have your own 26-metre private pool and shaded sundeck with a plush canopy daybed. There’s an indulgent outdoor shower, a linen-draped canopy bed, an L-shaped sofa to sink into and views that stretch for miles.

Ocean View Villas
Take in luminous views of the sea from your private terrace or even from the comforts of your four-poster bed – you’ve got 200 square meters of oceanfront living all to yourself. One Bed Overwater Villas
Take a peek at Song Saa islands’ natural reef through the portholes of your Overwater Villa. Spend hours gazing out at Koh Rong’s crystalline waters, before cooling off with a dip in the pool. Survey the skies from your sundeck, laze about on your daybed, then with direct access plunge into the ocean.

Two-bed jungle villas
Our two-bedroom Jungle Villas are big enough to turn cartwheels in, with more than 300 square metres of luxurious living space. Each comes with a full kitchen complete with a mojito-making station, two bedrooms with king-size canopy beds, a dining area, a lounge area big enough for the whole family and a wide sundeck framed by native trees and plants. A private pool overlooks jungle greenery, providing absolutely breathtaking island and ocean views.

Fresh, organic ingredients are sourced from our own gardens, with seafood from local fishing villages and imported goods from trusted international suppliers. A thoughtful gourmet cuisine that offers a fresh twist on traditional Cambodian and international fare – lovingly prepared and spectacularly plated. Sumptuous and scrumptious, we’ll give you dining experiences you’ll never forget. Shoes and jackets not required.

Vista Bar and Restaurant’s breezy waterfront position is nothing short of spectacular. The menu expertly combines local ingredients and Khmer flavors, alongside renditions of western comfort dishes. Driftwood Bar, on the beach is the idea spot for a refreshing glass of brut, a chilled beer or a signature cocktail.

At Song Saa Private Island, we prize natural, organic nourishment. We source our seasonal fruit and veg locally – much of it from the island itself. We use wildlife-friendly Ibis rice from the North and get our cashew nuts and coconuts from local villages. We’re also happy to cater to guests with dietary restrictions, and our vegan and vegetarian options are some of our best.

SPA

Song Saa Private Island offers an evolved spa concept that integrates the wellness journey with the natural environment of the Song Saa islands. Our ‘spa with no walls’ is not your everyday spa center – it’s actually made up of little ‘sanctuaries’ dotted across the island, where treatments take place nestled in nature.

Our spa philosophy embraces the Buddhist tradition of metta bhavana – the cultivation of loving-kindness. We also believe in the Buddhist practice of respecting all beings and offering blessings to others. For this reason, you’ll see our spa menu is divided into three themes: stillness, healing and blessings.

Song Saa Sanctuaries practitioners include traditional Khmer therapists, internationally trained wellness experts, yogis, reiki masters and meditation gurus. Experienced in local rituals and natural ingredients, as well as modern treatments, they are skilled in a wide range of therapies, from the ancient to the innovative. Each visit begins with a private spa consultation session with the Head of Wellness to devise a tailored program that comprises spa therapies, nutrition and activities. Our spa products are also derived from nature, created with wild local ingredients by Cambodia’s best artisans.

At Song Saa Private Island, our ‘wellness’ offering extends beyond massage and yoga. It’s our opinion that wellbeing is achieved through balance. Part of a bespoke wellness journey could include activities such as kayaking and hiking or heading out on the Boat of Hope. We also believe that fun and laughter are integral to wellbeing and that a glass of Champagne at sunset can be as vital to wellness as any spa treatment.
