LIVING

With vaulted ceilings and covered verandas, each of our 98 spacious pavilions and luxury villas in Chiang Mai feature polished teak floors, rich Thai cotton decorations and beautiful Siamese artwork, all under cooling overhead fans. Technology includes a satellite television, DVD player and wireless Internet access.

The Pavilions, with grand interiors of rich silk and cotton furnishings, beautiful Siamese artifacts and original paintings the four pavilion styles blend the best of traditional Thai design with natural beauty. Each of the pavilions offers the unique feature of an outdoor sala with a Thai-style daybed, overlooking either the tropical gardens or the resorts working rice paddies.

The Pool Villa offers the feel of a private home, rather than a guest room. The décor consists of a Lanna color scheme of red, orange and gold tones with an ornamental canopy bed. Dip into your private pool or relax on the private sundeck, surrounded by water three sides with views of the Suthep mountain range and tropical gardens.

The Private Residences offer the exclusivity and comfort of private homes, located in three- and four-story buildings influenced by traditional Thai-Burmese temple architecture. Of the nine, one to four-bedroom private residences, seven are equipped with a private pool, whirlpool in each bedroom or a plunge pool.

DINING

Our three restaurants and lounge offer an elevated take on Northern Thailand cuisine and Asian specialties, with a dreamy backdrop of Mai Rim Valley’s rice fields. But you can also savor Thai food with our weekly events, customized culinary experiences at the Resort and at the local markets, as well as our on-site cooking school.

Take a culinary expedition through Northern Thailand, Burmese and Yunanese cuisines at Khao by Four Seasons. At the Terraces, savor home-style Italian and Mediterranean cuisine made with local produce in an open-air setting overlooking the surrounding rice paddies and distant Doi Suthep mountain. At Rim Tai Kitchen you can linger over a leisurely lunch or enjoy a street-food themed dinner inside our Lanna-style steak house, surrounded by banyan trees.
