Each villa at The Nam Hai pays homage to authentic Central Vietnamese garden homes (or “nha vuon”), with large timber frames, decorative panels inside that rise to a pitched roof lined with flat tiles, and a multi-functional central sleeping platform with gossamer nets that create a lantern-like effect. Each villa strikes a fine balance of indoor and outdoor spaces, with careful attention to phong thuy (Vietnamese feng shui), bringing you closer to our unspoiled surroundings.

Spread over 35 hectares, 60 one-bedroom villas and 40 pool villas (ranging from 1-5 bedrooms) lie in the midst of tropical gardens and along the pristine shoreline of Ha My Beach. Top-notch butlers are assigned to each pool villa to ensure all guests receive unsurpassed hospitality with expectations exceeded. Contemporary Vietnamese artwork hang in high ceilinged living spaces among delicate, hand spun silks and polished local woods. In all our villas, whether one or five bedrooms in total, each bedroom pavilion centers around an elevated platform inspired by traditional Vietnamese garden houses encompasses the king-sized bed, a sunken writing desk, padded divan and our unique lacquered eggshell bath. In each, the lavish bathroom opens out onto a private tropical garden with an outdoor rain shower. Pool villas add a private courtyard entrance leading to the temperature-controlled swimming pool that makes plunging possible any time of year, and beyond that a separate fully equipped kitchen and your butler’s quarters.

Aligned with the great teaching of Thich Nhat Hanh, The Heart of the Earth Spa centers on the awareness that we are not separate from the Earth but at one with her, and that by aligning with natures rhythms we can improve harmony within ourselves and between humanity and the planet. All treatments feature crystal singing bowls tuned to 432 Hz – the harmonic intonation of nature – plus simple focused breathing techniques to attune body and mind to the Earth’s heartbeat.
